Some shapes ask to be noticed. HAVEN is one of them — an oversized pilot in deep honey tortoise, set with a lens the colour of new growth. Named for the place you go to be unreachable: green at the edge of the desert, the room with the door closed. Wear them when the light is high and the day is open.
The frame is hand-cut from bio-acetate — cotton fibre and tree resin — by a small workshop in northern Italy. Each set of temples is shaped on a heated mandrel, polished by hand, and finished with hidden double-pin hinges. The tortoise pattern is sliced from the same sheet across both temples so the grain reads as one continuous line.
Lenses are polycarbonate in soft botanical green, 100% UV400 — light, scratch-resistant, and tinted to hold colour without warming the eyes.
